1. No Flaming
What it is: Being mean, disrespectful, and otherwise offensive to a certain person(s) and/or group.
Why it is enforced: So others don't feel bad about posting here.
Exceptions: None. Flaming is not tolerated.
Punishment: A warn (Possibly two depending on how bad) and a coin fine. Further flaming leads to banning.

3. No Offensive Language
What it is: Creating accounts or posting inappropriate language. This includes, but is not limited to: insults to certain races, groups, religions, etc., vulgar language, and threats.
Why it is enforced: So people don't get offended.
Exceptions: Damn, Hell, Etc. If you say something inappropriate by mistake, this does not mean you can fill the forums with vulgar words and then claim you didn't know you were doing that. The only censored words are the 7 words that are not allowed to be aired on television, radio, etc.
Punishment: Loss of coins. Two warnings or a possible ban.

What it is: Creating a mass amount of accounts, topics, and/or posts which takes up extra bandwidth and server space. This includes posts that have little or no meaning. Posts with 3 or less words are considered spam, as well as posts that "bump" or revive topics older than 2 months without a valid reason to.
Why it is enforced: So the message board doesn't become cluttered.
Exceptions: None. We don't like it at all.
Punishment: Loss of coins. Every 2-3 times you are caught spamming, you will lose 50 coins (Possibly more) and will receive a warning.

Like all forums out there, Boo Mansion is bound to get it's fair share of annoying, rude, and/or attention-seeking users. The first thing you should do when you see a post from these kind of users is to contact a staff member. Don't react to them, it's what they want. By giving them attention, you're "making their day". The best defense against a spammer is to bore them by ignoring them.

If someone disrupts your topic and completely throws off the flow of the discussion, don't waste time flaming the poster or spamming your own topic and risking a warn, simply ignore it. If the post is truly disturbing and causing a huge disruption to the topic, then report the poster to a staff member and we'll take care of it.
